She was thoughtful, devoted to science and truth, and an extraordinary reporter to work with. Her integrity, kindness, & willingness to listen to public health workers in the thick of it all made her one of a kind. The gap she leaves behind is enormous. Helen you’ll be deeply missed. Rest easy 💔

Bessent's constant smugness is indicative of someone who needs extensive remediation in interpersonal skills. Lying incessantly? That's another matter. I wonder what he would respond if his grevious lack of interpersonal skills was tied to his sexual orientation like he paints Warren w/ misogyny.

I believe fraternity hazing and military hazing and sports team hazing where men abuse each other is acclimating them into a broader culture of abuse where they will then believe it is their right to abuse other more vulnerable people. It’s so insidious. And that’s also why I think men defend it

In the early 70's there was a very, VERY short-lived sitcom called The Texas Wheelers. Jack Elam was the dad, Gary Busey the oldest son, and an unknown cutie patootie named Mark Hamill played son #2 Doobie. And a crush was born. Wonder whatever happened to him? Anyway, happy birthday Doobie!
Jack Elam, Gary Busey, and young cutie patootie Mark Hamill smiling for the camera, not knowing that their sitcom The Texas Wheelers would only last four episodes. It's OK though. The boys did alright for themselves after, what with the Oscars and the space adventures and whatnot.
