One of my “grand theories” revolves around how “abnormal salience” is a challenge for contemporary life. Cannabis accentuates the phenomena (for comedic, enlightening, and tragic effects) but…the Internet and search and LLMs and the structures that humans have created with/out cannabis do it too.

Yes, it was triggered by the car running into a wall, but the crash was very much a violent explosion. It happened in front of my mechanic’s shop and he said it happened instantly. The lithium is extremely flammable.
