This is why my nephew is now obsessed with Siren Head (which, while we stan all things @slimyswampghost.bsky.social in my house, is a little intense for his 6yo brain). He's not even allowed on YT, but I guess accesses it thru MineCraft somehow? Didn't even know that was possible.

When Lucy from Compass Books in Dartmouth, Devon, was victim to shoplifting people told her to install CCTV. I’m pleading with all ALL school districts to consider how it looks when you use genAI for presentations, flyers, lessons, etc. while telling students it’s not okay for them to use it for shortcuts. Our job is to model and to show them effort matters.

TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER is the first game I remember playing at my best friend's house (we were in grade school, and he was the first among our group to get an N64). I already loved dinosaurs, and my mom refused to buy it for me because of the violence, so there was an illicit thrill in playing it.

Tomorrow I'm going to Chicagoland see Iron Maiden and Megadeth with my old college roommate. Next month I'm going back to see Sammy Rae and the Friends with my wife and friends. After that, I think I'm going to stick to local (i.e. within an hour's drive) concerts for a good long while.
