Found this old programme from a benefit show I did (and wrote quite a lot of) for the Birmingham Six in 1990. Pretty sure that cast list is based on star attraction and not alphabetical at all.

There is a row of horse chestnut trees outside the study windows. Writing at my desk, I can see adults picking up conkers, polishing them on their jumpers and stuffing them gleefully into their pockets. The passing school children are too busy on their phones to notice.

What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? Audience laughter in narrative comedy shows is more often taken away than added. It sometimes sounds artificial because any laugh that lasts more than a few seconds has to be faded or toned down.
