A real President ………. Sixty-two years ago today, November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. He was shot while riding in an open-top car and died later at Parkland Hospital. The event, which occurred at 12:30 p.m. CST, was a moment of national tragedy.

For the first time ever, the monthly jobs report has been cancelled. There will be no report for October 2025. The Trump admin claims this is due to the shutdown, but previous shutdowns always resulted in delays of the report. Why? Look at previous reports. We're losing jobs.

The long-awaited September jobs report showed revisions to previous months’ data: The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that there were 26,000 fewer jobs added in August than the initially reported 22,000 job gains. The revised data means the economy instead shed 4,000 jobs that month.

For the month of July, the BLS also revised down the number of people hired by 7,000, bringing the total job gains for that month to 72,000.

The number of people hired each month is subject to several revisions; the first two occur in the next two months’ job reports as the government gets more data.

The Epstein Files bill has a lot of protections in it to prevent Bondi from doing what we all suspect she's going to do: hold back or redact because of an open investigation or national security concerns. If she improperly withholds, she'll be sued, and SCOTUS will eventually decide.
