@catelli.bsky.social LLM companies are pushing “automation for the rest of us”, I think. But I wonder if having creativity to imagine what is possible is needed first. Scripters already have that, plus the tools.

Farmboy has Ontario peeled carrots!! This is the first time since I’ve been going there that they’ve had any that weren’t from the USA. They taste a bit different, maybe a bit tangier, but I expected a different cultivar. Still good. I go through a 2 lb bag a week, so this is great. #BuyCanadian

My spouse is re-reading Agatha Christie mysteries. It’s interesting to hear how anti-fascist, anti-racist and anti-classist Christie was. All of the worst people in her stories have those negative traits. She wrote her first stories in the 1920s, on through the war years with various fascist […]

It’s good to be reminded of why I stay alive: to play it cool and dig all jive. Thanks, Langston Hughes. #poetry #LangstonHughes

Screenshot of a poem with the image of a young, hip Langston Hughes, a slim Black man in a tweed jacket and brimmed hat. The poem reads:

I play it cool
And dig all jive.
That's the reason
I stay alive.

My motto,
As I live and learn, is:
Dig And Be Dug
In Return.
