Thirty-four days before she reported to prison, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes gave Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim access to document her every move. That turned into a three-year project, and A24 will release the resulting documentary this October.

Similar experiences. The worst for me in particular is when they consistently fail to detect blocked roads or construction zones. I could swear the app once was much more reliable at detecting outages like that. Perhaps it is losing the network effect required? Or it just sucks

Perhaps the third dimension is embedded in a pattern in neighbors of the trail map, or some sort of periodic oscillation of particles inside the ropes? Pretty cool, i wonder how to begin discovering where that information is stored, or if it is

Does the simulation have per-pixel dimensionality sufficient to represent 3D direction? Something like 3 extra dimensions of data embedded to represent the "pointing" of a pixel?

Ofc they will protect it because it is valuable and they want to scrape it themselves. Or sell it. But it won't be completely freely available

Dan Miller @dan0mighte.bsky.social · 28/08/2026
I think you can only do "public" or "private - visible to followers" something like that. From the perspective of AI scraping, twitter will make it difficult for third parties to scrape their data, because they have a vested interest in protecting it

Twitter, Facebook, etc. All these private companies defend our crops inside their walled gardens. Twitter is incredibly hard to access without a logged in account, Facebook lets you set shit private easily

Another reminder that by design all our shit is public here. This is what confused me about the great migration that occurred from Twitter when twitter announced it would be using your data to train AI. for better or worse, our data is more available for scraping here
