Christian @cwwilkie.org · 29/09/2026Had a good strategic meeting for our college. Expressed sourness over the necessity of staying cutting-edge with AI. Shared my concern re healthcare: demand is exploding, but career is unsustainable. Voiced support for our high school programs/int'l students, and helping ppl wrap up their degrees. 010

Christian @cwwilkie.org · 26/09/2026Meh. Someone parked too close to my Vespa, tore through the rain cover to scrape the front hub. I bought a replacement cover, but gods only know how much longer I'll have the scooter at all. If you have to ask whether they left a note, I fear for your safety in public. 000

Christian @cwwilkie.org · 21/09/2026Among the difficulties I find in learning Old Norse language and studying the reconstructed futharks is the rhotacism: s → z → rhotic-like sound → r How nauðiz becomes *naudiʀ is one or two huckleberries beyond my persimmon. Or lingonberries beyond my rutabaga, as the case may be. 100
Christian @cwwilkie.org · 20/09/2026Yesterday I grilled in the rain, supporting a friend's art pop-up as she sold weaving and original prints. Another friend asked if she could sell floral arrangements, and each of them did very well. I grilled Reykjavik-style hot dogs with homemade remúlaði, relaxed with an Icelandic lager. 031
Christian @cwwilkie.org · 17/09/2026Every time my wife asks me what time it is—every time—I have to stifle my reflexive response: (brightly) "Time for a Happy Meal at McDonalds! Regular hamburger, regular soft drink, regular fries: all regular size!" 131
