What kind of food production methods is that chart based on? Does it factor in the emission reduction enabled by regenerative farming/grazing and permaculture, or is it solely based on standard monoculture/factory farm processes?

Rewilding does not have to mean land abandonment or people exclusion. There are numerous ways to rewild and include people, farming, livestock : materials, food, and income. Silvopasture, food forests, permaculture, and even sustainable housing and selective forestry are solutions to our problems.

If you’re into permaculture or edible landscaping, Bloody Sorrel is an attractive and low growing edible perennial. It grows in dense clumps up to 18” wide, and it’s frost hardiness means it keeps growing well into fall after most other plants have faded. 🌱
