Uncooked vegetables and cooked chicken in a glass pot.
Canned tomatoes, widget-chopped potatoes with the skin still on, bell and jalapeno peppers, and onions, prechopped celery (somewhere), and baby and rough cut carrots also with the skin still on. IYKYK.

*I finally picked up some gloves for cutting jalapenos the weekend of the elephant grindr. There was an L missing from their podium, and one where it shouldn't have been on the gloves. Hence they are the Dallas gloves.

Borrowed recipes are cursed knowledge. They change. The original version changes. Or is simply gone. The temptation grows to return just once, just to find out how far it has strayed. You can't. They belong to a time that no longer is.

Korean beef. Sub pork. Sub veggies (mine has cucumber cubes and cauliflower and green pepper and onion). I remember when this sauce was brown, and not translucent reddish brown. An hour away, but you can't go back home.

Borsch with beet, carrot, onion, cabbage, green pepper, and pork. Everything but the cabbage somewhat has been stained by the beets. Once upon a time, this was a fixed recipe based on something from long ago. I don't need to ask if she's gone.

Boiled coke with lemon and ginger. Well, RC cola and lime now. I have no idea who did this, aside from it probably being one of his Hmong buddies from work. I miss lemon. It gets the job done but those rinds taste so much worse.

Cursed image. I thought the green things looked like artichoke hearts and tried it, and now I think they belong on sandwiches. Still should never trust a skinny chef, let alone one that doesn't even eat.

I'm starting to wonder if carrot greens are for eating or just making broth. The stems are still kinda woody after three hours.
