Hoje é dia de São Jerônimo, padroeiro dos tradutores. O santo traduziu a Bíblia para o latim. Por consequência, hoje é também Dia do Tradutor. Muito convenientemente, vi hoje uma tradução estranha, então aí vai um pequeno fio sobre uma armadilha comum em tradução (ou localização, se queira).

Na pintura, São Jerônimo está inclinado sobre uma mesa de madeira escura enquanto escreve em um grande livro aberto.
