I have a creek that comes up from underground right in the community I live in. I couldn't get Sonoma water or Santa Rosa Creeks and streams to do anything about it. Other than say it looks fine though it be choked with blackberry brambles and other growth. After the emergency dec Is being cleared!

Seems like a wife's choice. I wonder how long until football players and Santa Clarita today can't play in 100 plus degrees temps and baseball players can't play outdoors. It's coming soon and that might be a wake up call for many. Heaven forbid climate change interferes with our sports!

No surprises for anyone living in SoCal, but the last couple of days have been very hot for Oct in most areas, with widespread 100F+ today even pretty close to coast. Quite a few daily records, and maybe a monthly record or two, broken--with scattered records elsewhere in West.
