Avoiding the evidence, I see. You talk about indoctrination, yet your the one who dutifully sticks your fingers in your ears and yells "LALALALA, I CAN'T HEAR YOU" when someone points out facts.

He was there to conspire to keep Trump from winning in Georgia. It's thin, but that's the reasoning. Remember when Bill got in trouble for momentarily being at the airport with the former AG when Hillary was running? That's what they were going for.

My son is trying to get his book published. He submitted it to a company, and waited, and waited. When he called them back after six months, he found out that the person his book had been assigned to had left and they hadn't gotten around to finding a new person. Now he's looking for a new company.

It appeals to those pf us who know that both parents work in too many homes by necessity and need help. Next up from the Atlantic: people who want free lunches are denying children valuable life lessons.

The law isn't ignored by those in power. They use it all the time to oppress people. They just - sometimes with the help of the Supreme Court - get to ignore it applying to them. But, unless an outright civil war occurs - which won't necessarily go your way - you still have to deal with it.

Cops love ICE's new shock gloves. Parents want them out of schools.
Omaha requested 40 pairs of the gloves for just under $66,000 in 2025.

Everyone knows that "free" means "The kids won't have to pay for lunches" not "Magically food will appear." But it will also be cheaper for us taxpayers because we won't be paying people to harass kids whose families can't afford to pay for lunch.

If we get to an actual intelligent system, it's no longer artificial. Just because it's in a computer rather than single purpose hardware doesn't change that, nor does it change anything because "we" created it. I still think we're a ways off, but we shouldn't label it artificial.

The biggest problem is that the legislative branch doesn't prosecute anyone. They can investigate, but all they can really hope for is that the public reacts properly to what they find out.

I love what you're doing, and it's pretty awesome that you live in a city in a state where they're not going to pass laws to prevent you from doing that stuff. Whereas here in Texas the state prevents cities from requiring construction crews to give workers breaks during hot days.

Yep, the conservatives here in Texas are first and foremost businesspeople. If they can make a buck off of racism they will, if they can make a buck off of renewable they will. Thurber, TX was a coal town of 10,000 people until oil came along, and the owners kicked everyone out and sold it off.

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
