My doggo found a baby bunny in the yard. Luckily, he stared it it for a while before I checked to find out what it was, but my dog likes to eat bugs and lizards, so I'm not sure what he would have done given time. Hopefully it will be gone by 10pm.

I hope they care as much about my POV as hers:

When you choose to publish an article from someone like Nicole Russell, you should point out to the readers that she used to write for the Federalist, was active in Minnesota Republican politics, and not just some generic mom. Especially when she believes she has the right to decide how other parents raise their children.

Why do those of us who believe that we are stronger the more diverse we are ignored in favor of those who think we should return to a strong white Christian patriarchy? Why are people like Russell getting to decide what I show to my children? Why do they get to change the world from one where women, minorities, and LGBTQ+ are getting treated as equals to one where people are forced to conform to an arbitrary version of society?

Do you know what she could have done if she hadn't wanted her children to see the episode? Don't show it to them. Do you know what I have to do to show it to my children? I don't.

My white male children are better when they understand the potential advantages they have and to make sure they treat others as equals. We need more stories like the one Disney pulled, not less. And we don’t need the world she wants to create.

My Halloween skeletons helped with Thanksgiving this year:

We were sitting outside and the clouds were very thick, occasionally separated so we could see partials. The moment before full eclipse occurred, the sun was covered and we were frustrated. But at the moment of eclipse, the clouds disappeared and I got this with my phone on my telescope lens.
