Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 05/10/2026My initial intention was a coastal photograph for this weeks phone image, but after sharing this yesterday I changed my mind. A short walk from the campervan last week, a very cool autumn morning and just waiting for a little bit of light among the mist. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026 1281

Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 28/09/2026This week it is just a beautiful tree standing in the middle of a field taking all forms of weather thrown at it, but yet still the opportunity of shelter underneath its foliage. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026 0281
Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Another different shot this weekend, some might describe it as ICM, but I think it is more likely that the tripod moved! Either way it was a happy mistake and I like the mystical feel but that the reeds are still identifiable. 1151

Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Not much say about my weekly phone image this week other than I liked the combination of man made and nature, and the clear difference between structure in both. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026 0251
Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 20/09/2026From the Archives I think this is one of the oldest photographs I’ve been working on recently from 2015. My original edit was vibrant (eg colour!), and showed the extensive landscape. I feel now there is a feeling of control, tranquility and peace. 1291

Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Leading one’s eye along the woodland floor, deeper into the trees, and to the pocket of light. I love woodlands but I struggle to take and process photographs I’m happy with. This has gone through several iterations gradually getting darker each time and I may not be finished. 3324
Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Reflections I initially took this shot without the person, but the addition of the person transforms this into something more (I’m not suggesting it is amazing!). #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026 3422

Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Continuing to review and rework older shots with this beautiful decaying jetty. A still morning, the structure stands in the sea, and the tide rolls over the rocks at the waters edge. Taken in 2018, I originally processed this as a wider panorama format but am pleased with how a 1:1 ratio works. 1979

Taken nearly 10 years ago, a beautiful autumnal morning with soft mist surrounding the castle, the still surface providing a beautiful reflection. 1213
Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Thanks as always Mick and absolutely agree the shadow has a big impact on the shot. 001
Euan Ross @circa35mm.bsky.social · 07/09/2026The sun was shining, if only briefly, at the weekend and created a lovely shadow crossing an otherwise vertical shot. Prior to starting this project these are the types of shots I may have seen, might have captured, but am far more alert and aware to them. #myweeklyphoneimage #sharemondays2026 1412

One of those days you expect mist but there isn’t a drop and the chase to find it before the morning sun burns it off.
