As a man of certain age with Red Sox-fandom passed down from my father, I have experienced the existential dread that came with a playoff matchup against the Yankees. I sort of miss it now, but with my Reds fandom from my Cincy roots, I can rely on that team to deliver me despair in a pinch.

Would love an explanation as to why the official was preventing the Bengals from snapping the ball on the first play of a drive after a kickoff. Usually that happens to allow for defensive substitution, which should not be an issue after a change of possession.
