I think it’s really important to think of the broader picture that AI paints. I live in the backyard of one of the largest clusters of data centers on the East Coast. The environmental impact of AI is only beginning to be talked about and tech is turning a blind eye to this consequence.

100 days into this presidency, Americans are paying the price - higher prices, crashing retirement accounts, and broken promises. But the American people are turning, thanks to your voices. Keep it up. It's up to us to demand something better.

Two party outfits for #TC25 after dark, days 1 and 2! #TC25OOTD Party #1 was a last-minute event for me so I had to improvise and do some wardrobe remixing with components from the outfit for Party #2 (tonight's!) CC @christinagorga.bsky.social

I'm wearing a black and brown floral babydoll dress with brown tights and brown calf-high boots (I really loved this outfit!)

I'm wearing the same black and brown floral babydoll dress, this time with a black studded denim vest, black leggings, and black ankle boots

For #WorldHippoDay, here’s the long side of the Nilotic atrium mosaic from the House of the Faun in #Pompeii. Hippo vs. croc, with lots of ducks, lotus flowers, a mongoose and cobra, plus a couple of swamp hens and ibises. Open it up to see more. Fabulous. 1st century BCE. #MANN (inv. 9990). 📸 me

From the central atrium of the House of the Faun (VI, 12, 2) in Pompeii, one of three large pieces of a 'Nilotic' mosaic, showing a pinkish-colored hippopotamus, a mongoose and cobra, ducks, ibises, a crocodile, and lotus plants. In other words, a crowded day on the Nile! The incipient fight between the hippo and croc - as top predators on the river - brings the drama. Most of the lotus plants are in bud, and a couple of ducks are eating the blooms.

1st century BCE.
