Here’s some things that can be done by a party out of power - file impeachment articles every day in the House - withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee - be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

I cannot emphasize enough that the playbook being used against mRNA vaccines (and vaccines in general) is IDENTICAL to the playbook used to restrict voting rights after the 2020 election: actively sow public distrust, then cite the distrust you sowed as an independent reason for your desired policy

Opinion | Jay Bhattacharya: Why the NIH is pivoting away from mRNA vaccines
As a vaccine for broad public use, mRNA technology has failed to earn the public’s trust.

Another crash and injury on Spruce St. This one taking out a streetlight, an Indego bike corral, and sending another person to the hospital. Our city cannot prevent all reckless driving, but our city can provide for the safety of our most vulnerable. It’s time for concrete protection.

85% of Gaza is on the brink of death due to starvation. Israel could let aid in at any moment. And some people (like these men tried to do with me on Friday) are still trying to justify this atrocity. There is no justification. This could stop at any moment. End the blockade now.

Why does nothing get me out of paying my student loans though www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...
Closure of the Department of Education would drastically improve program implementation in higher education. The Department of Education currently manages a student loan debt portfolio of more than $1.6 trillion. This means the Federal student aid program is roughly the size of one of the Nation’s largest banks, Wells Fargo. But although Wells Fargo has more than 200,000 employees, the Department of Education has fewer than 1,500 in its Office of Federal Student Aid. The Department of Education is not a bank, and it must return bank functions to an entity equipped to serve America’s students.

Cutting off NIH projects mid-stream is both a giant waste of money and extraordinarily cruel. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/politicizi...
The grant terminations are also an astonishing waste of money. Projects are being cut off mid-stream, with millions of dollars already invested, which now won’t be completed. The money invested in the review processes has now also been wasted. The cuts are not saving money—they are doing away with investments that more than pay for themselves.

A core problem here is that like many things, the public discourse is totally playing on the right's terms. It's not "DEI" to research gender/racial inequality. DEI is a propaganda phrase to denote unnecessary excess in the mind of the public, like HR trainings. That's not what they're eliminating.
