Seeing DIGGER on a gigantic ass IMAX screen in an almost empty cinema, It was very clear why this wasn't doing well but it was also clear that it's a fucking miracle that it even exists and got made in the first place.

This is one of my mum and uncle's favourite films growing up. When I mentioned how bleak and rough it is, they were baffled. They were doubly surprised when I mentioned its rape scene and racism. They'd only ever seen the PG version and had no idea of its original form.

EVIL DEAD BURN is the first Evil Dead film I've liked/enjoyed since Army of Darkness and is ABSOLUTELY the best in the recent sequel/requels. Felt like it was made in 2001 with some very European sensibilities to boot. Bravo! I'm completely surprised.
