As a disabled person getting social welfare to survive i can tell you, im extremely aware of how little my life matters, and is in fact a huge inconvenience, to the current labour party government and its supporters Im a usless eater, dont deserve to take up space or oxygen

Yes, look: if a political movement splits into a huge bloc of millions of civilians baying for racially-based genocide and getting it, and a far, far smaller bloc who wring their hands and ask for the same in a less overtly bloodthirsty manner, there really isn’t much debate over whether it’s racist

Means testing is just wedge used to turn the obviously outrageous "should we have this social net at all" into "who deserves this social net?". Every edge case is then used as an argument to diminish provision until it's gone. Cynically using people's sense of fairness to fuck everyone over.
