P.S. It's not only police who have access to Flock. In my local department, civilian employees were misusing it & one officer gave access to a random friend. 😑 Also, Kentucky shares their data with insurance & debt collectors. So that increases the number of people who can track & stalk us.

Here is the law in Kentucky that lets them have free access to the data. There may be similar laws in other states.
KRS 189.632(4) (d) "Shall not be sold, shared, accessed, or transferred for any other purpose, except:"
KRS 189.632(4) (d) 4 a
"To an insurance carrier, its agents, or an insurance support organization solely for purposes of investigating insurance fraud, assisting in vehicle recovery, adjudicating insurance claims, and preventing insurance fraud."
KRS 189.632(4) (d) 5 a "To a financial institution or its agents or successors solely for purposes of collateral recovery, enforcement of a lien, recovery of defaulted funds, or verification of information provided within a loan application".

Yesterday YouTube changed the rules for monetization. They doubled the amount of watch hours that a person needs, making it much harder. A lot of people are assuming (no doubt rightly) that this is YT’s attempt to get free content, to pay less people and make it harder than ever before.

I very much doubt I'll reach that goal but it really is the basics: Paid $220 on past-due phone, still owe $60 for fees. Internet will cost ~$500 to restore. Groceries at least $150 to supplement the rice and beans I already have. Anything else goes to rent.
