@georgegalea.bsky.social, @kuodyte.bsky.social, Pepperkok et al. reveal that RAD51C is anchored at the #Golgi by Giantin until DNA damage triggers ATM-dependent release & nuclear import, establishing the Golgi as a spatiotemporal regulator of nuclear #DNArepair rupress.org/jcb/article/...

Congratulations to Fisher Lab @ucl.ac.uk on predicting combinations of anticancer drugs, was privileged to be part of the consortium. Executable models offer insights that black box models do not. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42341181/ @icr.ac.uk @crukconvergence.bsky.social

Integrative multi-omics defines melanoma drug response networks and ARID1A-dependent resistance mechanisms - Molecular Systems Biology
Resistance to BRAF/MAPK inhibitors is a significant challenge in melanoma treatment, driven by adaptive and acquired mechanisms allowing tumor cells to evade therapy. We explored early signaling respo...

Crick researchers have found that certain aggressive lung cancer cells can develop their own electric network, similar to the body’s nervous system. This can allow tumour cells to go ‘off grid,’ making them harder to treat. www.crick.ac.uk/news/2025-02...

We then used our published method from @charliegbarker.bsky.social (Barker et al, Genome Research, 2022) to create a reference MASLD network by associating gene co-expression modules with histology scores, identifying key transcription factors regulating them and applying network reconstruction.
