I think about this comic all the time.
Comic by drawer of drawings on Instagram. A detective stands in a kitchen that looks like it's splattered with blood. The detective says, mother of god. Nothing human could have done this. In the bottom panel it says, earlier. And there is a dog uneasily holding a ketchup bottle with its paws trying to put ketchup on a hamburger.

Given continued advocacy, I’m confident Sunset Dunes park will live on if put to another vote. But this fight is so stupid, so backward. I want a campaign battle to just go hard on ridiculing the carbrains and deliver an embarrassing defeat.

“Eat the rich.” Many people are saying it. As a worker in the tourism industry, I’m glad to see it being said here (more palatably, yes). And put in the context of the much larger, systemic problems with American capitalism. skift.com/2025/08/12/t...

I do firmly believe that refusing to outsource your basic cognitive functions to LLMs right now - as so many are stumbling over themselves to do right now, like hogs trotting to a pile of slop that’s been set up inside of a butcher’s delivery truck - will very much pay off in a few years.

The big “why do you hate AI?” Thread got comments and quotes turned off, but here’s the main reason I hate AI: It’s being developed by the worst people on the planet solely to enrich themselves at the expense and labor of the world’s vulnerable populations. Everything else stems from that

SV elites: we should use tech and AI to revolutionize education (but their kids go to private schools that don't do this), college isn't important (but their kids go to the best ones), and everyone's jobs can/should be replaced (but not the ones for them or their kids)

Don't trust "AI" and also realize that the push to have "AI" in everything happened because some tech people wanted to get rich and other tech people didn't want others to get rich without them, and now they've all spent too much money on a bad product and are trying to scramble out of the hole.

SFPD has effectively been on strike since 2017. they wont even enforce basic traffic law even tho roads are back to pre pandemic car use and pedestrian deaths are at an all time high. they blame the pandemic but that was just a good excuse for the 1st couple years. not now.
SFPD traffic citations over time with a slow decrease starting in 2014 and dropping offat the beginning of the pandemic to almost zero. they haven't gone up since even with record funding and overtime pay. effectively being a strike. fuck cops but the least they bould do is fucking try to enforce traffic law or pretend to do their job as they are one of the most well paid people in the city
