In many Romance languages, one way of saying “my name is” is “I call myself”: Italian ‘mi chiamo’ Spanish ‘me llamo’ Portuguese ‘chamo-me’ These verbs all stem from Latin ‘clāmō’. At first glance, cl- changed in very different ways, but it all started with one common change. My graphic explains:

According to Georgian liturgical calendars from the 10th c., a “Feast of the Dedication of the Church of Mount Sinai” (სატფური ეკლესიისაჲ მთასა სინასა) was celebrated on 3 October. It was dedicated to the summit church (Hagia Koryphe). Read about an Arabic homily composed for that occasion here:

These fragments from a Roman villa in Spain are not from a mosaic but from a fresco. If you look closely you’ll see a grid of lines, many following the contour of the figures, much as tesserae do on mosaics. This trompe-l’oeil technique simulates mosaics. 1/ 🏺 1st-2nd c. Museo de Málaga 📸 me
Fragment of a fresco depicting part of a human face, mostly the eyes. Thin lines form a grid pattern, simulating the edges of tesserae.Fresco fragment showing a naked torso of a woman, her legs and pubic area covered in a red himation (cloak). Her right hand carries a basket laden with fruit, which look like giant globes of grapes. Grapevine leaves appear in the background. A Dionysian scene. The faux tesserae grid lines follow the curves of the body.Fresco fragment depicting some sort of half-human creature with wild hair and bare torso, gesturing upwards with his right hand and holding a branched stick with his left. The faux tesserae grid lines follow the curves of his garment and body.Fresco fragment with the torso of perhaps a god with golden skin, a red himation flowing outwards and partially covering his or her legs. In Sapporo, you close a night of drinking with a parfait, not ramen. The shime-parfait is a tall glass of sorbet, gelato and fruit eaten late in a specialty bar. The term was coined in 2015 by Kobayashi Hitoshi, a Sapporo design director, while branding a client's cafe.
Two parfait glasses on a wooden table, one topped with pineapple and cherries, the other with mango scoops on pink mousse.

A tiled panel on a wall, consisting of the words "T S ELIOT" above and "TOILETS" below. The letters are different colours with lines joining the instance in the top row with that in the bottom, showing that each is an anagram of the other. Eliot’s photograph is set into the O on the top row. At the bottom italic text reads "My name is only an anagram of toilets. - T.S. Eliot."

For the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, here is a view from the remnants of the twelfth-century church atop Slottsfjellet (Castle Mount" in Tønsberg, southeastern Norway. It was part of a castle complex. Churches dedicated to Michael were often, but not always, located on summits.
View of the foundations of a small medieval stone church placed on top of a crag, seen from inside the choir. In the foreground, the crag rises in petrified billows, and in the middle distance are the low remnants of the wall, which outline the shape of the church. A narrow threshold marks the entrance from the nave to the choir, and further back is the threshold for the main entrance to the church itself, even narrower than that between nave and choir. In the far background, a blue stretch of sea lies between the crag and a low, forested ridge on the other wide, all lying beneath a blue cloud-streaked sky.
