maybe i'm naive but maybe it would actually be Good if you can clearly establish to investors "we enforce the law and ensure people are treated fairly" because it, you know, means they in turn can trust they'll be treated fairly? if some bad actors are robbing you blind it's not good for the rest!

It is a little disconcerting that so many people who know a lot about LLMs on a technical level appear to go a little insane. It would be like if there was a really cool and effective new kind of pen, and for some reason about 40% of the people involved in the pen making process went mad.

Well, it’s a good thing the people who run these things have no influence on what they say and, even if they did, it’s good they are the best, most honest people on earth with the beat intentions for everyone who isn’t them and their immediate family and rape club buddies.

I hate that, before I buy an album, I have to find it on Wikipedia and on the pirate sites first, to check if there are versions sold in particular places that have extra tracks.

Mousewheels should be on little cartridges you can eject to clean. Just removed a load of fluff from mine with a pair of tweasers, but there's still something in there I can't see or reach which makes it have much more friction during one part of the spin.

The modes added for 1vs1 on each flipper, and training / practise stuff, are really cool. I'd love the training mode idea to become a standard thing. Also great that it tracks your best scores for each training type. Neat stuff on the software side of things. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9tX...

Love the old items in the Key Points list there, showing how the story evolved and how irresponsible, useless news media kept printing complete bollocks before they knew a single thing. Media should know by now not to trust initial gov/police claims & insinuations about "terrorism" arrests, FFS.

Preprocessor macros should be outlawed, and if that makes it impossible to continue writing C code then the language wasn't fit for purpose in the first place. The awful hacks people use in C code to simulate stuff that is built into C++ is just mental. How do people live like that?

Why can't 3D printers remove the need for prime towers by having a little area that's always level with the print head for it to print on, which then gets sliced off into a waste bin automatically? Then it would only have to spend time/plastic for actual color changes, not every single layer.
