Universities will have to improve their teaching degrees or face consequences. The reactions have been mixed
Universities will be given two years to overhaul their education degrees or risk losing their accreditation as part of a national bid to fix Australia's teacher shortage.

This was an excellent episode and clarifies some misunderstandings of SoR. I picked 3 quotes from Nathan Clemens to highlight. I listened while cleaning Tonya’s stall, because she’s still on stall rest! Alfalfa cubes for a treat! #EduSky
Phonemic awareness and phonics instruction should be merged. We don’t want kids to guess words, we want them to use their knowledge of the alphabetic code to decode words, then use their knowledge of semantics, background knowledge and vocabulary to recognize the word they’ve read.Does a program involve abundant practice in them reading words, spelling words and reading text?Horse eating alfalfa cubes in her stall.
