I really, really wish that more people would wear a mask if they are aggressively coughing, sneezing, mucusing widely, etc etc while traveling...or at least covered their mouths? Can we as a society at least agree on that? Last 24h of travel has been surreal.

A tiny part of this is ok yeah I cannot recognize celebrities—for ex I ended up at a bar with the 2012 US men's Olympic basketball team, and did not figure that one out myself. The bigger part is I know I'm not entitled to strangers' private lives, just...leave people alone and don't film everyone?

Luigi Mangione's attorney Karen Agnifilo said during a hearing that the Manhattan DA's office informed her that someone listened to an attorney-client call — but it was "inadvertent."

Gonna keep saying this: In the 1840s, Southerners insisted that they could kidnap any person they alleged was a slave without any state or federal process. This turned even minimal process into resistance and raised the salience of the issue, which radicalized a bunch of people against slavery.
