This is why I say that in the age of AI, it is imperative to be pro-human. Accuracy is not the measure of the value of literature. It is whether your intended audience, other humans, feel seen, recognized, moved by your work. This is what makes work human. This is not something AI can capture.

It's actually terrifying reading this and seeing how it all is spelled out so plainly. And still, AND STILL, they won't even recognise it as an issue, never mind addressing it.

Shocker as the physical embodiment of Ireland's ills points finger away from him and his ilk, who caused untold distress and countless suicides, to marginalised groups. May this walking talking pus filled big toe never know peace.

Just a note to political parties contesting the Dublin byelection that, rather than sitting silently on the sidelines, you need to come out and condemn Hutch's racist comments on immigration. In a democracy, it's not enough to be not racist; one must be actively anti-racist. Silence is complicity.

It is a pity the Dems can’t vote for someone to lead the party and messaging in off-years. The GOP have benefitted from having one leader over the past 10+ years. The Dems messaging is scattered depending on who is favoured by the media at the time.

Our political and media system has been sitting in a pot of social media water, slowling boiling itself in a targeted foreign far-right propaganda campaign and seems unable to notice it happening. www.thegist.ie/the-gist-sun...
A circular diagram showing how Far Right Narratives are fed into Platform Aplification algorithims, and then media and commentary take up the points thinking them representative of public discussion, leading to the political system reponding and adopting some of them. This leads to a shift in the real public's perception of what matters, and ends in a ligitimisation of those fringe positions.

"This report tells us two things. The first, and most important, is that most people are decent and that the more they are exposed to discussions of controversial things, the more likely they are to decide to support the decent position.

The other thing it tells us is that we have political and media institutions which are completely incapable of recognising when they are being targeted by foreign interference campaigns. "

Sad to see yet another vehicle donated to a disability service plastered with name of the service and donating organisation on the outside. Why do disabled people have to be publicly identified as recipients of charity when going about our daily lives? Why do donors ask and service providers allow?

Data centres uses 32% of Ireland's total electricity supply but pay almost less than half of the residential rate. So we're effectively subsidizing tech giants during a cost of living & energy crisis. Meanwhile this Govt continues to cheerlead their expansion & continue to fail in their obligations.
_"The Government’s consistent cheerleading for data centre expansion has reached a point of reckless disconnect from the economic reality of Irish citizens... Irish families are paying nearly double the electricity rates of these industrial facilities, effectively subsidizing the massive energy consumption of global tech giants while struggling with a punishing cost-of-living crisis."

I see the US media are calling the illegal war with Iran ‘war of choice’. They did the same calling an attempted coup the big lie. You would think journalists would have more respect for words. It is not cutesy or clever ffs it minimises the seriousness of the act and tacitly gives permission.

One of the ways protests work is by sheer numbers. It takes a lot of people to block a city, ergo a lot of people feel strongly about an issue. When 11 fascists with massive vehicles block a motorway it presents a disproportionate picture of the level of support.
