I get annoyed at the narrative that all the awareness and work on climate change hasn't done anything. Yes, global CO₂ emissions indeed continue to climb, but we don't know the counterfactual. When I was in grad school, we were on track for 5°C of warming. Now it's below 3°C. That's progress.

Lt. heutigen #Covid19 Abwasser-Variantendaten für Ö sind XFG + NB.1.8.1 zusammen schon bei ca. 30% mit Probedatum 14. Mai. Stand gestern waren sie noch gar nicht in den Daten (vmtl. zu KP.3 gezählt). Den hohen R-Wert konnte man allerdings schon länger sehen.

Diagramm dass Variantenverteilung logarithmisch zeigt. Darunter auch ca. 10% NB.1.8 und ca. 20% XFG. Den größten Einzel-Anteil hält LP.8.1.

Diagramm dass R eff seit 2022 zeigt. Zuletzt ist ein Anstieg auf 1,3 im Mai 2025 zu sehen (der höchste Anstieg der im ganzen Diagramm zu sehen ist, ist etw 1,35 im September 2024).
