An AI-enhanced version of a grainy image that appears to be authentic and shows several men being arrested in relation to the ongoing incident at RAF Fairford is currently being shared on multiple platforms. A SynthID check reveals that the enhanced image was generated with OpenAI.

A lot being said and written about “The Cornell 7” - students who drugged and repeatedly raped a young woman after being alerted to her drugged state on a group chat. 2 were expelled, 5 had to write essays. Not enough is being said about all the other guys in the group chat who remained silent.

You know, if you *really* cared about the wellbeing of women in college, instead of carping about the statistically insignificant number of trans athletes in sports minding their own business, you’d be railing against these Cornell fraternity cretins who drugged and gang-raped a passed-out women:

“It’s not ALL men.” None of the 50+ men the Cornell rapists invited to come join them in raping a woman they’d drugged went to the authorities or tried to stop it. Not all men would rape an unconscious woman, but where are the men who’d try to stop it, or EVEN FUCKING OBJECT?

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
