This is largely because they are letting women have their babies slowly die inside of them instead of offering them the standard of care which is to do an abortion and evacuate their uteruses. Which means you can get an infection first in your uterus and then in your whole body. And even die.

I think about this quote every single day and I think about how much potential we, as humans and as a country, have lost because of hate. Our Constitution and institutions would be so much stronger right now if they were also built with Natives, Black people, and women as equals.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.
