They say follow your dream. A few days ago, I dreamt about eating an enormous ice cream for lunch, so that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Oh! A little surprised this eventually went anywhere. I suspect they'll get the biggest fine in sporting history to pretend the authorities are being firm on this, City will pay it from their pot of Monopoly money and nothing else will happen.

Used to love this anthology when I was around 10 or 11 (yeah, that's probably too young for Flowers for Algernon), didn't remember the cover art looking like THIS A lot going on here
The front cover of the Puffin Book of Science Fiction, stories chosen by Nicholas Fisk. The cover depicts metal tripod machines with heat rays, a man locked into a headset thing, and a mouse in a wooden maze. I promise this is all relevant to the contents of the short stories within.

There was a mock election in the lead-up to a real General Election, with the winner getting the chance to debate in assembly with our actual MP. All was going well, until the real MP started bellowing (and I mean bellowing, giving it the full Brian Blessed) about wind turbines

It's just hit me who Roberto de Zerbi reminds me of. The venn diagram of "people who recognise both of these" and "my followers" is probably a circle
Roberto de Zerbi, Italian football manager. He has black gelled-up hair, and a closely trimmed beard and moustacheSergey Lazarev, a Russian singer. He fits the same physical description as de Zerbi

My favourite Teletubby was Tinky-Winky, that should have been a sign of something. I love the "*sigh*, do we really have to dignify this with a statement?" tone of the official response
Tinky-Winky, a fuzzy, purple, monkey-like creature. He stands on two legs, the purple fur covering everything except his face, the inside of his enormous ears, and a small grey patch on his stomach. He is holding a red handbag."The BBC made an official response, explaining that "Tinky Winky is simply a sweet, technological baby with a magic bag."

4 years since I saw these two signs opposite each other. Of course, that food we all famously associate with Garfield, doner kebab. Wonder if the flower stall considered changing its name a couple of years before.
A flower stall in an indoor market. The sign above it reads "Corona Bloemen & Planten"A sign on a shop, in the same indoor market. Garfield Doner, on black with orange text, and the G of Garfield has little cat ears and a tail

I wouldn't call myself a cartoonist, but I had the vision and just needed it to be on paper to the best of my ability.
A hand drawn eight panel cartoon. First two panels are a colander sitting frowning on a shelf. Then the colander is frowning straining pasta, then three more panels of frowning sitting on a shelf. Then a big panel where it's projecting a bunch of crescent eclipse shapes and smiling with speech bubbles around saying "Wow! Look! Amazing! Beautiful!" And then one final panel where it's sitting on a shelf smiling.
