I’m heading to NYC for the first time since the early 2010s. I used to go once a year when I was an exec at Nick - my team would go to the headquarters at 1515 Broadway where we’d present the new slate of shows to the rest of the company. It was always fun and exciting. Those days are gone now.

Macklemore just announced he’s donating the $1 million he made from Sheeran’s tour to 6 organizations to support Palestinians and he’s asking Robert Kraft to match it. This is just the first part announcing it.

With everything that has happened over the last 48 hours, I want to bring the conversation back to where it belongs: to the Palestinian people who are still being killed, still living under military occupation, and still fighting for their freedom.
I will be donating the entire $1 million of my net earnings from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour to six organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people. And I invite Robert Kraft to match my donation. Whatever we disagree about, perhaps we can agree on this: Palestinian lives are worth protecting. Solvable but requires a studio to not be frozen by analysis paralysis. 1) 20 episodes per greenlight. 2) Greenlight a new season based on gut belief in it, not based on waiting until numbers come in. This was TV for decades. Movies you can wait around for numbers, TV you can't. They're different.

finished Widow's Bay and yes, I love Patricia. There could have been so many obvious ways the wacky / socially awkward character could have been played but Kate O'Flynn's choices of subtle strange gestures and line reads made what could have been a predictable character a real stand out!
