the fun thing about toshi's face being so stylized in canon is that it gives you a lot of liberty when drawing him in a different style. the frustrating thing about toshi's face being so stylized in canon is you're always second guessing where it actually looks like him or not

This is still the funniest thing to come out of mha

A four-panel bonus comic from My Hero Academia, showing Deku and All Might talking about Christmas presents. The script is as follows.

All Might: Midoriya, my boy, got anything you want currently?
Deku: Huh? Why do you ask? Uhhmm…
All Might: (internally) Knowing the kid like I do, he’ll simply say something like “Oh, All Might, I’ll be more than happy if you just keep watching over me” and I won’t have to
Deku: A PS Vita……..
All Might: A PS Vita… you say.

Not only is illustration art, WSJ has artfully illustrated that no matter how rich you get, you’ll never be accepted in old money circles. They think they make culture. We all do, for better and worse.

A bare bum with music written on it. Someone is pointing at it all 'look! Arse music!'

i come up with a lot of what i think of as 'quirk of the week' type fic scenarios, wherein a character is affected by some random quirk in such a way that makes the romance happen. i don't know that i'd ever get to fully write them all, but maybe i could do a collection of shorter ficlets 🤔

boytron @boytron.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

i'm curious what qualifies a fic as a slow burn to diff people. i tagged SMHYC as a slow burn but i know some readers wouldn't agree with that bc the "get together" happens half way through (totally fine, i have no strong feelings on the matter). where does the threshold lie, at what word count?

020

boytron @boytron.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

tomorrow's if my heart starts beating again (need to come up with a nickname for this fic lol) update is pretty big word count wise, almost twice any of the other chapters. hope you guys enjoy <3

The reason that the Harry Potter apologists won't just read better books is because they're not looking for good stories...if they were, they wouldn't have glommed on to Harry Potter. They're looking for the camaraderie and social phenomenon that Harry Potter was in the 2000s.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

theverge.com

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.
