why are multiple artists i follow on tumblr virtue signaling about not having a foot fetish by saying it's So Hard to look up foot references for drawing on pinterest. No one cares to hear you imply you think you're above other people because you don't share their fetish

I think the way a lot of people are reacting will be interpreted as "rockstar shouldn't be allowed to do this" when the issue is actually "everyone should be allowed to do this"

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

the crazy thing about making time for any creative pursuit is that you literally have to do what you have a gut-deep yearning to do or else you'll see other people doing it, and it WILL make you insane.

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

smth we talked abt a lot was how different the zombies were but it still felt like smth i could see happening in a resi game. Felt very aligned with the G virus. And i love how it had its own version of the Relentless Pursuer archetype that we get with Mr. X, the nemesis, Jack Baker, Lady D, etc.

thoughts too long, put them in the screenshot!

my verdict: it was really good! Felt very true to the spirit of resi which i think was the best way to go abt an adaptation. I think trying to be faithful to the story of re 2 would've been a mistake. It's too convoluted to compress into feature film length. I like that this story seems to just kinda run parallel to what's going on with leon and claire. The ending was slightly unexpected but at the same time makes sense: bryan can't save the day, because we already know what happens to raccoon city
