Happy 25th anniversary to Ace Attorney! This is an old photo of all the games in the series I own physically. I played the original AA all the way back in 2006 on my old clamshell DS and it was one of the best gaming experiences of my life.

For no reason in particular, I just feel like reminding people that there is a human-made translation patch available for Zero One SP. It's an unfinished proof of concept, so only the first chapter is translated, but it's still a fun way to experience a piece of this ambitious ADV.

I played Angelic Agency! The demo only gives you a small taste of the game but it seemed pretty neat. The artwork and music is really loud and fun but I do worry that the puzzles could be very easily solved just by brute forcing all the available options. Curious to see how the final game turns out.

Trails in the Sky SC is full of iconic moments, but for some reason my brain recalls this specific line the most often. I think about this cake analogy all the time when I'm working on projects.

"Koihime" is a PC-98 ADV made by Silky's in 1995 that was later remade for Windows by Elf in 1999. While the PC-98 version featured sepia-colored BGs & a vertical textbox, the remake rolls with a horizontal textbox, full color BGs, & new char designs. Both have their charms!

As I replay OoT, I'm reminded of just how often Navi reminds you were to go, how your next objective is blinking on the map screen, and how the owl introduces each new area. I can already imagine people complaining that the remake is hand-holdy because they also forgot how guided the original was.

The fan favorite of the Brandish series was released on the PC-98 in 1994, and that's where it has stayed since. It may be getting an English patch in the future, but as of now this game has always been one of the best kept Falcom secrets on the PC-98. youtu.be/bA7K046_QUc

Oh, wow! Zoids: Chaotic Century was the very first manga I bought with my own money. I was really obsessed with it as a young teen but was always disappointed that the story never got a proper conclusion. Kind of bonkers that it could finally receive an actual ending all these years later.
