Everton are through after beating Wolves 1–0, a rotated side giving Moyes decisions. We discuss Dibling’s 90 minutes and patience, Alcaraz’s decisive role, breaking down stubborn Wolves, and who deserves more game time. Full episode: linktr.ee/thebluefront...

Bobble says both clubs think Balogun can get done. I will find out tomorrow as Everton just isn’t worth the stress.

Looks like potentially Richarlson OR Balogun then. Love you Richie but big wages and dead money mean it’s Bologun for me

Richie is £25m plus 10m add ons. A bit more realistic.

Absolutely love Richie & Grealish but long term these are terrible deals. Particularly when you add in Norgaard and Tete. Short termism is just storing up future issues.

Selling Harrison Armstrong would be a huge strategic error from Everton. If you get a 19 year old already capable of playing PL football, who clearly has elite potential, then you do everything you can to keep them.

Does anyone know of any sane reason we would be selling Armstrong to Forest? I’ve not seen anything and the news stories don’t say.

Happy 4th of July from all of us at the Blue Frontier! Part 2 of the Team Assessment has dropped. We look into our midfield as well as the data driven targets in the center midfield positions. Shan & Ryan rate KDH, Garner & the rest with Wyscout data, then evaluate Hayden Hackney’s fit. #Everton

A platform originally designed for free speech and expression now favours abuse and misinformation over meaningful debate.
It isn't healthy for our democracy or our communities and I don't want to support it.

Few here will agree with me, but I think Starmer’s government has laid some decent groundwork in ways voters have largely completely failed to notice. To suggest the last two years have been a disaster is way off the mark. But Labour clearly now needs someone who can speak to people.

What happened in Makerfield? Some new constituency polling between @persuasionuk.bsky.social & Convergent (most accurate pollster in the race!), covering among other things: - Burnham assembling a coalition Lab needs nationally - 'Get Starmer out' + 'public ownership' at the centre of it. 🧵👇

Iraola seems to be able to work with and improve young, talented players, whilst getting results in the PL. Which is a rare talent . He can also work within a structure that means he doesn’t want complete control over everything. Thats something that fits with what TFG want to do with Everton..

New survey finds 91% of fans believe football is better off without VAR
* Only 2% thought VAR ‘makes football more enjoyable’ * 81% prefer watching games without video technology Football supporters remain thoroughly unconvinced of the merits of video assistant referees (VAR), with new research suggesting as many as 91% of them believe the game is better off without it. More than eight years after the first trials of VAR in the English game, an annual survey by the Football Supporters’ Association shows widespread dissatisfaction with the system, including the tweaks that have been brought in to improve how it is used. I enjoyed Louis Theroux's delve into the Manosphere, but I have the niggling sense that the whole panic around it is a bit of a fantasma. The prevalence of misogyny among young men is no higher now than in 2015. The worst you can say is it's stopped shrinking. What am I missing here?

This is important. Reform keep taking positions that are only supported by the 25% of the electorate they already have and in doing so are negatively polarising everyone else against them.

What's happening in Dubai bolsters the argument taxes should be based on people's nationality, not just their country of residence (ie the US model). If Brits living abroad can expect to be airlifted out by virtue of being British, they should pay some tax towards that. www.bbc.com/news/article...
