A nation cannot build a prosperous future on the exhaustion of its people. When workers are beleaguered, productivity falls—not simply because people work less, but because they have less of themselves left to give. It's why more of those who work are coming to food banks. #LdnOnt

I’ve spoken to many reporters who are frustrated that even though they sometimes mention that the extreme events they’re reporting on are due to climate change and make the link to fossil fuels, people get upset when they don’t. The solution is to mention it every time, even if it seems repetitive.
Emphasize the impact of climate change
Ho said there is a frustration that climate scientists feel when they see reporting that doesn't mention climate change and doesn't mention how climate change is
caused by the burning of fossil fuels.
"Even though it's super boring, it's worth saying it in every article just because some people don't read every article," said Ho. "It's not a bad thing to mention that every time."

Nobody disputes that having access to a car in a car-dominated society is good. It gives one access to jobs, healthcare, food, education, social opportunities and more. All we're asking is for people to go one step deeper and ask why access to such basic rights requires buying and operating a car.

There is a way of thinking taking hold in this country — that building a stronger Canada means walking away from our climate commitments. Abandoning our climate commitments will not make Canada stronger. You cannot build a stronger country on the ashes of its communities.
