The last line of that article is chilling. Have we as a nation really slipped this far? Amnesty International said in its report on executions in 2025 that it knew of at least 17 public executions — 11 in Iran and 6 in Afghanistan.

When you see your kid in the wild and they look as awesome as you think they are. He’s riding 9 miles a day for school. Bike lanes matter. Alternative transportation matters. He could take the bus but he chooses to ride. I am so proud. That’s my kid.

I think Portland should market that we take red state refugees. The city would see a boom of progressive thinking folks who are done with “American equality“. Also our biking infrastructure is better than anything a red state can offer.

Same guy is a “bike advocate”. Not one proposal of a new bike lane, he just takes credit for what people do prior to taking office. See 4th avenue bike lane, that was designed and built before him. He is trying to remove diverters on bike lanes. what a mistake he has been.

Maybe TriMet could tow a trailer with 30 cars and then we could build a parking lot to store the cars and then tow them home again. We could make it climate friendly by using electric busses to tow the cars. We could sell parking passes to build a new parking garage so you can drive the last mile.
