One of my favourite things around September here is the fresh walnuts and figs but also that autumnal yellowish colour that mirabelle plums and unripe dates offer. I could eat that all day long.

I like a tiny bit of surprise things in my routine as long as it is "light"... as in, worst case it has no impact, best case it makes my day. Windows 11 used to greet me with nice outdoor landscape photos from actual photographers. Now I often get AI generated landscapes instead. It drives me mad.

My partner got me a used copy of the original "heavy metal vegan cookbook". Recipes look genuine and cool, but compared to modern cookbook it's a bit "not practical". There is a lot of unapologetic comments and illustrations all the way. I'm not even sure where to start, but I love it already?
