One of my favourite things around September here is the fresh walnuts and figs but also that autumnal yellowish colour that mirabelle plums and unripe dates offer. I could eat that all day long.

My partner got me a used copy of the original "heavy metal vegan cookbook". Recipes look genuine and cool, but compared to modern cookbook it's a bit "not practical". There is a lot of unapologetic comments and illustrations all the way. I'm not even sure where to start, but I love it already?

I've recently read the second issue of Vallées de l'Etrange titled "Gachette Warning". It features a full French translation of @digiantiquarian.bsky.social's essay on Police Quest and its fraught real-world policing context, alongside a piece on "cop gaze" in Max Payne and an analysis of Receiver.

I've just watched Takopi's Original Sin and without any spoiler, I find the theme, tone and story pretty refreshing and great. The anime is in 6 episodes of ~20 min and none felt too much. It's not totally horror but it navigates in these dark waters. A really nice surprise to me.

For those who are familiar my curator works, you know how much I care, in anexhibition, about being able to play AND to watch anyone playing, without forcing a visitor to interact directly with the game. Back in the 80's arcade cabinet companies thought about it too, but for different reasons :D
