Going to the doctor sucks, but ngl, I DO look forward to this view of Tahoma every time 😍

Tahoma (Mt Rainier) in the distance, with a mostly clear sky. It is snow covered, and behind rows of trees and several roofs. The scene is tinted slightly amber due to the window glass.

Jfc, not the fuckin trans lady in charge of the “pride” channel at my work sharing out the fucking Sarah McBride-Ezra Klein interview as a final “happy pride” message…. 🤦‍♀️ This is exactly why I have this shit muted, even during June. So…..this one’s on me for peeking in anyway, I guess 😂

Sometimes, I want to share my weird collage art on here. Especially seeing encouraging posts re: “keep creating.” I’ve been making them for 15 years, and while they’re not “masterful” art, I have my own style, and explore many themes. But…I’m terrified of ANY images being slurped into AI models. 😞

I'm saddened to learn that we lost David Schleinkofer earlier this week. He created lots of incredible sci-fi artwork, including the box art for SimCity 2000 and one of the most incredible pieces of Transformers art that many 80's kids still have seared into their brains.

G1 Transformers back-of-the-box mural by David Schleinkofer. It shows multiple Transformers characters (most prominently Optimus Prime and Starscream) battling in deep space.

“Do not seek out shadows in the future; you will discover oftentimes that the sun of tomorrow will dispatch them.” -Andre (Alice) Norton, “The Zero Stone” (1968) Art from the inside of the cover, by Jeff Jones

A line drawing printer on mass market paper. A man with a straight nose and a long chin, wearing a space helmet with the mask up, looks away from the viewer toward an alien bean-shaped object. There are different sized spots, crisscrossing lines like slime trails, and two eyelike ovals with a line coming out of them. It is not clear what this object or environment is.
