The documentary films “Why We Cycle” (2017) and “Together We Cycle” (2022) are a great intro to Dutch cycling culture and how the cycling infrastructure came to be. It only took a few decades to spread. Start now!

This poor automatic red-light camera system was taken out by some driver on 50 mph arterial Nova Road. System hasn’t been working since 2014, but Flock cameras read license plates all day long with no traffic safety benefit.
Collapsed poll with redlight camera lays across shared-use path along Florida State Road 5A, Nova Rd.

Spotted my first e-moto parked at the grocery store bike rack. It has no pedals and has a peak power of 15.8 kW and can go 60 mph, just a wee bit higher/faster than the legal e-bike limit 750W/28 mph. Not street legal with no break lights are turn signals. My Swytch kit e-cargo bike is 250W/16 mph.
According to Google, a E Ride Pro SS e-motor bike which is not street legal parked the bike rack (substandard "wave-rack") at the grocery store.

This amazing photo was taken by Commander Reid Wiseman on Artemis II. What a lot of folks don't realize is that this side of the Earth is illuminated by moonlight, not the sun. And you can see aurora on both poles. Picture was rotated 180 degrees to provide more familiar orientation.

This image of the Earth is so cool. This is the night side of the Earth lit up by the Moon. Note the Sun is behind the Earth. The city lights of Spain can be seen shining under clear skies. The green glow of aurora from excited oxygen atoms can be seen in the lower left and upper right.
A view of the Earth from space. The blue sky, swirly white clouds and brown desert of north Africa under clear skies are visible. North America is under clouds. At the lower right the sunlight is just visible at the limb. Thin green arcs of aurora a visible to the lower right and upper left at the north and south polar regions, respectively. The city lights of Spain and Morocco can been as well as the Straight of Gibraltar.

Cartoon: In the foreground, a character sits in a ladle outlined by stars (in the shape of the Big Dipper, the asterism in Ursa Major) sipping on a drink.
