I made it through exams— though it nearly ended me— and am now into Prospectus and Dissertation mode... ...and I am losing steam. I had some big personal breakthroughs this summer, but lost momentum in the process. Plus, juggling the PhD with parenting toddlers and having other jobs is a lot. #PhD

Safety and comfort are not the same thing. Feeling uncomfortable or unsettled is not the same as being unsafe (although it can feel the same). Self-awareness must include reflection on the difference.

These hero dogs chased off a man who tried to sexually assault two female dog walkers. They were able to push him away, and then their pack of 11 rescue dogs ran him off into a tunnel and ripped off a piece of his pants. The dogs are all getting our highest honor, a 15/10
