This is the take on AI which lines up most closely with my personal biases so obviously I like it. I stopped listening to the AI bros when they said AI would kill all the jobs ever... and then some months later co-pilot was still unable to merge 3 spreadsheets for me.

What's especially crazy to me in this sentiment (which I also had pre bluesky) is how much every other artistic field lauds indies. Indie filmmaking? Good. Indie music? Good. Indie books? Suddenly people draw a line, even though all the reasons Indie is good everywhere else *still apply*.

You know what the biggest (and most unexpected) hurdle has been while working on my first ttrpg? Convincing myself that not using my own art doesn't mean I suck or am somehow cheating. Truly did not see that problem coming.
