I love this so much! At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions. This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

When hearing talk about the need to protect the Tasmanian salmon industry, just remember this is not a local-owned industry. It is dominated by foreign-owned companies. The profits go offshore, and they don’t pay tax here. But the environmental damage very much happens here.
Charts showing income earned and tax paid by Tassal and Sealord in 2022-23
SEALORD AUSTRALIA PTY LIMITED. Income: $159,915,664; tax paid $0
TASSAL GROUP LIMITED. Income: $323,217,126; tax paid $0
