People struggling financially have voted predominantly for the AfD in recent elections. Not in Berlin. The Left put socializing corporate landlords on the ballot, and won the election and this group.

Someone has been emitting an awful lot of carbon to send me emails I don't read. This morning, from 4 email accounts (work & personal), I added up 177,737 unread emails. It's taken many years of effort to build to that. Still, if you send me an email and I don't reply, maybe try again, eh?

It’s Plover Appreciation Day and we are Plover-whelmed by their round fluff, smol squeaks & fast feets. 🏝️ Want to be a shorebird ploverachiever? Keep their habitats healthy by picking up trash & plastic, keeping pets leashed on the beach, & observing them from a safe distance. Plover and out!

No surprise the govt is having trouble getting the states on board with the gun buy-back. They’ve given much more attention to reducing anti-Semitism (often interpreted as stopping criticism of Israel) as the key response to the tragedy of Bondi. No real effort to build a consensus about guns.

Yes, as JD Vance indicates, what Nixon did was absolutely nothing by Trump's standards, it would be a 12-hour news story, and you'd have to be crazy to think that criminal behaviour like that these days could lead to the president resigning.
