At least one "photography" group I'm in is posts of grainy, old, faded photos from the 80s or whatever asking for someone to help "clean them up", and somebody always responds like they just asked an LLM to describe the photo and fed that back in as the prompt to generate a new "clean" one.

I do think Kirk is a revealing case of how detached the right wing’s X-driven unreality has become from actual reality. On X, Kirk was borderline deified. In reality very few people going about their everyday lives knew who he was.
