Honestly the reaction to Burnham's 'vibes' really sticks in the craw when he's clearly made a strategic decision that the winning strategy on trans people is to never talk about it and hope it all goes away. Leaving us in a state of permanent fear of lawfare and abuse and enormous waiting lists.

Me too. I dread the impact it'll have on my cfs in general. Currently symptoms aren't terrible. But I'm pretty foggy and achy. And the isolation really gets me.

I'm still not sure what an "agony aunt" is, but the vibes are all warmth and playfulness for me. I appreciate that they get into the sticky questions around play instead of just profiling games. So, I'd give this a try even if you're burned out on other bg podcasts.

I've played enough different systems with similar or literally the same groups to say that system does matter for enjoyment. Though mostly for the impact it has on the GM. I do think committed and careful people makes a huge difference though.

GMing is so many skills at once and you don't need to be good at all of them but you need to try to do more of the things you're good at, but to know that you need to be good at gathering and taking feedback, so that might be the most important.

Absolutely shook. PAC was a favourite from the first time I saw him blast down the ramp. The tautest and tightest wrestler, in control of every inch of movement at all times. I've never seen anything like it and I don't know if we will again. He was our bastard. He was always our bastard.
