Nicky Hager's book sounds absolutely great, and I'm hoping to read it someday, but we really need more scrutiny on our "left" wing parties as well. For example, why do @greens.org.nz have Josh Jacobson, a former NZSAS officer who operated in Afghanistan in the 2000s.

Almost definitely not the actual computer I remember having, but it was definitely very similar to this Gateway. The first computer that was actually mine was a (somewhat haphazard) frankenstein computer largely made out of parts I saved from being thrown out.

Saw the Odyssey tonight, and I thought it was ok. Kinda bland, and changing the stuff with Polyphemus was just weird. There's nothing horny in it either, and Odysseus and his crew being horny causes more than a few issues in the poem.

Ugh, PBTech trying to get out of replacing something that's still under a manufacturers warranty, which they have to honour. So far I've used a store's second most hated phrase, "under the Consumer Guarantee Act", and will follow up with "I'll take you to the disputes tribunal" if I have to.

Convinced that Chippy wants to be leader of the opposition. When you make statements ruling out certain things before an election, rather than saying it will be a discussion based on the election results is bad. Appealing to a middle that won't vote for you doesn't work, but will disenfranchise.
